JOHANNESBURG, Dec.11, 2019 – Entelect’s CEO, Shashi Hansjee, announced their new CTO, Matthew Butler at the company’s year-end function late last week. Hansjee praised Butler saying, “Butler has been with us for over a decade after joining the company as a graduate in 2009 in the capacity of a Software Engineer. Since then he has had an illustrious career at Entelect, having played an integral part in almost every role in the organisation, from building bespoke software, leading successful teams and eventually becoming part of the broader General Management team.” Hansjee also noted, “Butler was particularly successful in his position as GM which included heading up all outsource work and spearheading new business development. Over the past few years, Butler has proven to be invaluable on a strategic level in the business, and I look forward to his continued success here at the company.”

Butler’s primary focus as CTO will be to oversee the company’s customers and he will act as the conduit between potential customers and our business. His expertise around understanding our customers and the challenges they face in the technology landscape will be business as usual.

Butler is based in Johannesburg and holds a BSc IT (Hons) Cum Laude from the University of Johannesburg. He has delivered exceptional results in his areas of work and has helped the business to grow through his passion for galvanising people and teams. This made the decision of his appointment to join the executive team a clear one.
